Published name, address and contact routes — plus the checks you run yourself.

20 checks in Business Identity

What business details does a store have to publish?

A shopper should be able to tell who operates the store and how to reach them. StoreVerifier can inspect the name, address text, email and phone details published on the pages it captures. It can check formatting and public consistency; it cannot ring the number, inspect registration files or prove that a building belongs to the merchant.

That boundary matters. A missing address is evidence of a missing address, not evidence of a fake business. A free email address may be poor presentation, but it is not a policy verdict. Where ownership or reachability needs proof, use the official registry, account record or a real contact attempt yourself.

Fix the plain things first: publish accurate details in readable text, keep the same trading identity across the public site, and label legitimate differences such as registered and returns addresses.
