We help merchants turn misrepresentation findings into fixes.
When Google Merchant Center suspends your store for misrepresentation, you need to know what to change. StoreVerifier helps you work from findings on your public store to practical fixes. Here is who runs it, why it exists, and the record behind its advice.

Built by a merchant who got suspended.
I’m Edvinas Ivanauskas, StoreVerifier’s owner. I resolved two suspensions of my own merchant account.
The first suspension involved countdown timers and claims I could not prove. I was fortunate to speak to support on the phone. They pointed me toward this issue, but did not identify exactly where it appeared on the store.
I removed the countdown timers and the claims I could not substantiate. Those were the changes I made for the first suspension, which I resolved.
Suspended
Misrepresentation
The second suspension happened after transit times had changed and I had switched from a professional email address to Gmail.
I corrected the transit times and switched back to my business email. I resolved this suspension too.
That experience informs my guides here: identify the problem, make the change and check the result. The report example beside this account illustrates how findings are presented; it is not evidence from my store.
What a finding says instead
- The page
- /products/ceramic-mug/pages/returns
- The clause
- Policy pages need to be substantive, accurate, and accessible so shoppers and reviewers can read them.
- The example
- “Free returns within 30 days”
Who writes the guides
Edvinas Ivanauskas
Edvinas Ivanauskas owns StoreVerifier and writes the guides in the Compliance Library. His own merchant account was suspended twice, and he resolved both suspensions. His guides focus on finding a specific problem, making a correction and checking the result.
How the guides are reviewed
- Published requirements first
- Guides link to the relevant Google Merchant Center documentation. Community guidance is labelled separately so a Product Expert’s advice is not presented as Google policy.
- Specific changes and checkable evidence
- The steps explain what to inspect, what to change and how to verify the result. Public-store findings are kept separate from the account checks only the merchant can complete.
- Clear examples and honest dates
- Illustrative examples are labelled. Controlled re-checks describe exactly what was tested. A guide’s review date records a content review or material edit; it is not refreshed just because the site was deployed.
Struck out of the scanner.
110 checks it used to publish and no longer stands behind. They were withdrawn, not quietly dropped: this is the scanner’s own list, printed in full.

These reports cover Google’s policies and nothing else, in both directions: a finding grounded somewhere else is never published, however tempting it looks.
From update 8.5, 16 Sep 2026
When it gets something wrong, the fix is written up and dated.
214 dated updates so far, each one saying what changed in the scanner and why, in plain English. The newest three are here; the whole list is on the updates page.
- Update 16.54Seven more checks read the page instead of matching words
- Update 16.53Prices with no label are read; fake urgency is critical; where orders ship from is checked
- Update 16.52Product pages built by script are found; promotions, reviews and pop-ups read by what is there
- Accuracy is measured, and published
- We test the scanner on fresh stores and have the results audited independently. The detail is on the accuracy page.
- A finding we cannot reproduce is refunded
- If we can't reproduce a paid-report finding, request a full refund within 30 days.
We don’t work for Google. We work for you.
The fix list starts with documented public-store checks across seven layers. Each finding points back to evidence in the report, so you can see why a change is needed.
- Independent, and on your side
- StoreVerifier is an independent service that helps merchants find and fix public-store misrepresentation problems. The scanner gathers the evidence; you make the changes.
- Every finding comes with its evidence
- Each finding points to the page and the words we captured. Anything the scan could not reach is marked as unreached, not passed.
See the problems first, then decide on the fixes.
No account required to scan, and no card to start. The free check shows the findings; the paid report gives you the affected pages and practical steps to fix them. If it comes back clean there is nothing to buy and nothing to pay.
