Public product and cart evidence; private feed comparisons stay manual.

What product information can a scan check?
This category is about the product information a shopper can see: price, availability, variants, delivery promises, images and claims. StoreVerifier captures those public surfaces. It does not connect to your Merchant Center account or compare a private product feed with the live page.
That still leaves useful work. If a product page says £29.99 while a cart, variant selector or delivery note says something else, the store has a visible contradiction to resolve. And if you use a feed, compare it with the live store yourself after price, stock or promotion changes. Sync delays are mundane, but customers still meet the result.
These guides separate the evidence a public scan can capture from the account-side checks you need to do manually. A decent dividing line, even if it is less glamorous than pretending one button sees the lot.
