Still suspended after Merchant Center fixes? What to check
Still suspended after fixing your store? First check whether the review is pending, rejected or unavailable. Then compare the remaining Merchant Center issues with what you actually changed. A cleaner website is useful evidence, but it does not complete account verification or update product data by itself.
Why this matters
A suspension that remains after changes needs a fresh diagnosis. Save the latest notice and review result. Check whether the same policy is still listed, whether another issue is open, and whether the review covers the country and account you are looking at. Do not infer an account result from how the homepage looks.
For a pending review, retain the confirmation and follow the status in Merchant Center. For an unsuccessful review, reopen your change record. Each claimed fix needs a current public page or account setting behind it. A note saying “policies updated” is less useful than a link to the changed returns terms and a capture showing the conflicting promise has been removed.
Check copies of the information too. A return window may appear on the policy page, product template, FAQ and Merchant Center return settings. A price may come from a catalogue, an app and a market setting. Fix the source of the conflict and compare all affected places again. Otherwise the next edit or sync can bring the problem back.
Complete the manual account work: business information, any verification request, submitted product data, shipping and returns settings, and any linked-account issue explicitly named in the notice. StoreVerifier cannot see these settings. Follow the guidance for the named issue rather than changing accounts or domains to try to escape it.
If your notice uses permanent language, read the precise policy section and available appeal route. The current Misrepresentation policy describes different warning and suspension treatment for different categories. An appeal is not a promised reinstatement; support your response with accurate facts and use only the options offered for the issue.
Return to the step-by-step misrepresentation fix guide for the full sequence. If the next review is blocked, use the greyed-out review button checklist. Typical evidence
Do not try to work around an enforcement action
StoreVerifier cannot determine how Merchant Center links accounts or reviews related entities. Keep records accurate, fix the storefront evidence, and use the account’s published appeal path rather than creating a workaround.

What it looks like once it is right
Illustrative fix: the merchant records the old and new returns wording, corrects the product banner and manually aligns the account settings. They reopen the pages, confirm the current settings and attach those facts to their own review record. No account outcome is implied.

Questions merchants ask
Why am I still suspended after fixing misrepresentation issues?
Check whether the review is still pending and whether every listed issue was addressed. Public pages, product data and account tasks are separate parts of the work. StoreVerifier cannot tell you Google’s reason for retaining a suspension; use the latest account notice and review response to guide the next audit.
My store check is clean. Why has Google not reinstated the account?
A check with no findings is limited to the checks that ran and the pages reached. It does not establish that the entire store or account meets every requirement. Review any pages marked not checked and complete the manual account checks in the fix guide.
Can I move domains or open a new account after a suspension?
Do not use a new domain or account to bypass the issue. Work through the notice on the existing account and use its available review or support route. See old, duplicate and linked accounts if that is the issue named in your notice.
Is every misrepresentation suspension permanent?
Do not apply one blanket answer. Google’s current policy distinguishes categories and their warning or suspension treatment. Read the section linked to your notice and the options available in Merchant Center. An available appeal does not promise approval.
